Erika took me into the wonderland of the Fitzgerald Biosphere on a 5 day Walking with Wildflowers adventure and it was a carefully guided immersion into the natural world, of which she is so passionate and knowledgable. The coastline there is incredible and just to top it off, we saw whales, close to shore! I absolutely adored the whole experience, the walking, the wildflowers, the country, the company and the yummy food. Erika's experience and dedication to detail made the trip seamless and she was great company.

I had the privilege to ‘walk with wildflowers’ in Sept 2024 with Erika. The Queen of Sheba was the orchid I wanted to see and Edgewalkers was the provider recommended by the WA Tourism. They were absolutely correct. Thanks to Erika, I’ve been able to spot close to 50 different orchids and dozens of other plant species endemic to WA (and a Dugite near our path as well!) I am a person that likes to walk/hike not dawdle but I soon realised that this was all about the "wildflowers not me and my destination”.
Walking with Wildflowers was an "awakening" in more ways than one.
How I was treated was just such a relief, being a vegan I'm often very badly catered and cared for on trips, despite knowing my situation up front I've been treated as a nuisance but not with Edgewalkers! The guides are amazing, caring individuals, who think about every detail, nothing is too much trouble, the food was amazing, so fresh and tasty. To top it off the walks & the wildflower were spectacular, the beaches pristine, the accommodation was clean and comfortable the local restaurants enjoyable. All in all Edgwalkers are a great company, putting on high quality walks with local experts to add interest and expertise, you can't go wrong booking with Edgewalkers, I'll definitely be traveling with them again.
