CAPE TO CAPE WALKING, YOGA MINI-RETREAT
MARGARET RIVER
MARCH 20 - 22 2026
SEPT 25 - 27 2026 (with visits to Open Studios)
When was the last time you had 3 days to yourself?
How does this sound?
🧘🏻♀️ you get picked up & dropped off in Perth - you don’t have to drive, park, clean windscreens or get fuel
🧘🏻♀️ you walk 3 sections of the Cape to Cape track with an experienced guide - they’re friendly, carry snacks, tea, and coffee & know the way
🧘🏻♀️ during the walks, you’re blown away by the ocean views, native plants, squeaky clean beaches, limestone paths, granite headlands, fresh air, and how good it feels to be out in nature
🧘🏻♀️ the walks are long enough to feel a sense of achievement but not so long that you need help to get back in the van…
🧘🏻♀️ the guides are kind, thoughtful, encouraging, and focused on you having the best and safest experience
*🧘🏻♀️ everyday you visit different artists studios and enjoy one of the most popular events in WA: Margaret River Region Open Studios (only during SEPT event)
🧘🏻♀️ exciting, delicious, healthy, locally sourced meals and snacks are exclusively prepared and served to you at breakfast, lunch, pre-dinner, and dinner … you never knew plant-based food could be so damn good!
🧘🏻♀️ at the resort, your bed is clean, crisp, and comfy, you have long, hot showers, and if you want you can pay a little more to sleep all by yourself!
🧘🏻♀️ the daily yoga is soulful, uplifting, and balanced.
🧘🏻♀️ on the drive back you smile ear to ear, chat happily with new friends, and scroll through the hundreds of pics and cheesy selfies you took, feeling relaxed like you haven’t done in ages
🧘🏻♀️ you get home feeling like the healthiest, most centered, and satisfied person on the planet

“What a wonderful time we had on the three-day Yoga & Art Mini-retreat! Beautiful south-west Australia in all its springtime wildflowers glory; lovely visits to Margaret River open-house artists studios (we even saw glass-blowing); a couple of yoga sessions (indoors and outdoors, with the kangaroos) perfectly designed to stretch all the right places; and tasty healthy meals. Erika curates an amazing experience with oodles of local knowledge, attention to detail and care for each participants’ capabilities. My daughter and I really enjoyed the short break and have come back feeling refreshed and centred. Highly recommend Edgewalkers - thank you Erika :-)”
“Thank you, Erika, for an unforgettable experience on the Cape to Cape Walking and Yoga Mini Retreat. The weekend was so thoughtfully curated, showcasing the best highlights of the Cape to Cape track. Every detail was perfect, from the breathtaking views to the incredible vegan meals, which far exceeded our expectations. Your knowledge of Western Australian wildflowers added so much depth to the journey, making each step along the trail even more enjoyable. Kirra’s yoga sessions were a wonderful addition, giving the retreat a holistic touch and ensuring we were refreshed and ready for the next day’s adventures. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway! ”

“Just came back from the most amazing Easter break weekend with Edgewalkers. The 3 day Cape to Cape hiking and yoga retreat was everything I expected and more.
The mix of walking and yoga was perfect and the food that Kirra cooked for us was out of this world.
Can’t wait to do it again!!.”
“The experience was amazing, more than I hoped for! I was looking for some time to myself to reset and refresh and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this weekend.
Kirra and Seriah were fantastic hosts (and wonderful people) always ensuring that all our needs were met, they were friendly, accomodating.
I loved not having to think and organise anything! We were picked up from Perth, driven from hike to accommodation, fed delicious food, enjoyed the yoga sessions and our accommodation was lovely.
All I had to do was turn up and enjoy :)
I’m seriously thinking of doing this annually!”

“On a whim, my colleague convinced me to go on a 3 day walking/yoga retreat to Margaret River to walk parts of the Cape to Cape. I had no idea of what to expect but Edgewalkers completely excelled in all areas. They are the kindest and most thoughtful of women. Erika, Seriah and Kirra couldn’t have been more welcoming or caring in all aspects of our trip.
The food was amazing, the yoga was invigorating in the most amazing places and the walks were just inspirational. We loved this so much and feel in love with the Cape that we had to go back and do the whole thing 6 months later!
I am now very interested in going to Mongolia with Edgewalkers.
I couldn’t recommend them more highly.
Thank you to you all”
“I have just returned from a 3-day yoga and walking weekend with these guys.
What can I say! the passion, love and enthusiasm from Kirra, Seriah and Erika absolutely makes it one of the best I’ve had.
The views speak for themselves and having local knowledge to provide insites into the flora and fauna made it even more special. Seriah’s knowledge and enthusiasm about the beautiful flowers is contagious.!
The food is amazing!! I am not a vegan, not even vegetarian but every meal (and plentiful snacks) were beyond my expectations and totally delicious, introducing me to new flavours and foods to which I thank you.
Yoga, I do not regularly practice and felt very rusty but Kirra made everyone feel relaxed and special.
All in all I thoroughly enjoyed this weekend and made some new friends on the way.
Thank you Edgewalkers xx”

The sections we choose to walk for this mini-retreat are easily accessible to anyone with a moderate level of fitness.
The longest distance is 10 km and so about 3 - 4 hours walking.
The terrain is varied, some sandy sections, some sandstone and granite outcrops with rocky uneven ground, so steepish walking up and down the ridge but generally the sections we cover in the 3-day mini retreat are very accessible. -
Yes, there is sand - it is a coastal walk and when you do the whole walk there are about 25 km of sandy beach, the longest are about 7 km each.
But over 3 days we won’t be tackling any of the long sections of beach.
So you’ll walk on sand on some short sections of beach, on the track and in the forest, but generally you probably won’t notice how sandy it is because you’ll be so enthralled by the wildflowers and the views! -
On day 1 we walk 7 km.
On day 2 we walk 10 km.
On day 3 you can choose to walk 10 or 7 km.
During the Walking & Yoga MIni-Retreat we usually walk between 3 - 4 hours each day.
-
YES!
So many - you won’t believe how stunning this time of the year is on the Cape to Cape. And we’ll make plenty of stops for you to admire and photograph them. -
The yoga is accessible to all levels.
You don’t have to attend every session.
Some sessions will be more energising and some relaxing.
During the Margaret River Open Studios 3-day Cape to Cape Walking Yoga Mini-retreat you will only do 2 yoga sessions in the morning of day 2 & 3. -
We will try to visit 2 - 3 studios every afternoon. These will be confirmed for each event.
