Edgewalkers Creativity & Walking Retreat Singapore

The retreat has three components:

EXPLORATION - A creative playful exploration of our creative lives; what we are hoping to be creative about now and in the future; where to start, how to sustain it - we will use transformative theatre and creative thinking techniques to explore, examine and move through the trajectory of where you are now and where you want to be with your creative practice – whatever that might be.

EXPRESSION - Silkscreening workshops - create your own range of patterns and designs in this 4 day course in design and screen printing - bring to life what you discover in your walks and in the inner exploration of your creative journey.

REFLECTION - Walking & writing - let your mind wander as we walk various natural spots in Singapore as well as join a cultural & historical walking tour. The walks are an opportunity to connect with nature and reflect on everything that is emerging during the retreat.

This retreat aims at intensively (but delightfully and playfully) exploring and dismantling some of the obstacles that are getting in the way of your self-expression and creative fulfilment. It will also give you an opportunity to create something from the very start, help you generate ideas and problem solve any areas specifically related to your creative aspirations.

The main intentions are for you to experience useful insights into what stops you from expressing yourself and generate approaches to overcome this so you can establish or reestablish a daily creative practice & to learn some basics about silkscreening.
