Cape to Cape 4-day/3-night camp & walk

We love the rewarding experience of waking up, walking, eating and sleeping on the Cape to Cape track. Over 4 days & 3 nights you will be fully immersed in nature as we walk through some of the most stunning sections the track has to offer. Except the last night you get to spend it in complete comfort and luxury before one last day on the track. 

Accompanied by an experienced and Wilderness First Aid trained guide you will be safe, encouraged and supported as you complete some of the most stunning sections of one of Australia's most beautiful coastal hiking tracks.

Cape to Cape 4 day/3 night walking tour Itinerary

Day 1 Perth - Wilyabrup - Gracetown

(drive 290 kms - distanced walked 14km)

7 am pick up from Perth/Fremantle.  Drive from Perth down to the southwest and straight to Wilyabrup Road where we stop for a quick morning tea before setting off on the Cape to Cape. Take in the spectacular Wilyabrup cliffs and the rugged coastal scenery on our way towards Gracetown. After approximately 4 hours we arrive at this iconic southwest surfing town where you can enjoy a swim and stop for a late lunch at Huzzas. 

We continue for a little longer to Left Handers where we set camp up for the evening in a protected patch of the coastal heath. We prepare & share food and enjoy an early night. 

Day 2 Left Handers - Ellenbrook -  Margaret River

Wake up to the sound of the breaking surf and enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking the Indian Ocean. We set off towards historic Ellenbrook - along the way we may see dolphins or at the right time of the year even whales making their way north. After a quick rest & snack at the heritage estate, we continue past popular Joey’s Nose at Kilcarnup Beach and onto Margaret Rivermouth for a late lunch at the White Elephant in Gnarabup before continuing on to our resting place at Boodjidup Creek. This is the longest day of walking with a variety of terrains, including low coastal heath and beach. 

Day 3 - Margaret River Rivermouth - Boodjidup - Redgate - Contos - Boranup Forest

Wake up early in this secluded spot and share breakfast before hearing off towards the longest beach walk, Redgate and onto Bob’s Hollow where we break for morning tea in the shade of the cave wall. Spectacular views over

Day 4 - Hill view Hill Road to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse

( drive- Boodidup road to Augusta 50 km - distanced walked 8.5 km)

We take the Caves Road  to drive to Augusta through the stunning Karri forest and start our walk from Hillview Road, after a couple of kilometres through the forest, we make our way to the Cape to Cape track and complete the walk from the Augusta Cliffs, past Skippy Rock to the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse. We stop for a well deserved, celebratory lunch at one of the local wineries and then half a couple of hours free in Margaret River to shop or visit the town in your own time. Leave for Perth at around 2:30 - 3pm. Perth arrival approximately 6:00pm.
