We love the rewarding experience of waking up, walking, eating and sleeping on the Cape to Cape track. Over 4 days & 3 nights you will be fully immersed in nature as we walk through some of the most stunning sections the track has to offer. Except the last night you get to spend it in complete comfort and luxury before one last day on the track.
Accompanied by an experienced and Wilderness First Aid trained guide you will be safe, encouraged and supported as you complete some of the most stunning sections of one of Australia's most beautiful coastal hiking tracks.
Be inspired by the magic of the night sky and create stunning night photography during this 2 day/2 night retreat in Australia's southwest with photographer Paean Ng from Astrordinary Imaging.
This special event includes pick up/drop off in Perth, 2 nights luxury accommodation, all vegetarian meals and snacks, transport to all locations, creative thinking workshops & photography tuition PLUS 2 guided walks on the Cape to Cape track and Boranup Forest.
Photography tuition includes camera theory, camera settings for night photography, exploring, identifying and framing different parts of the MIlky Way and generally using your camera to its full potential to create amazing landscapes.
Ideally you have a DSLR camera with a wide angle lens (F3.5 or wider) but you can use any digital camera with manual controls for the shutter, aperture and ISO - you will also need a sturdy tripod and SD card and you will be able create photographs like the one above.
The retreat has three components:
1. PRACTICE - Night Astrophotography - learn the basics of astrophotogrpahy, including the basics of wide field panoramas. Capture and bring to life the beauty of the southwest night sky and immerse yourself in nature and a creative experience.
2. EXPLORATION - Creative Tools - Learn a number of idea generation & problem solving tools in a fun and playful exploration your creativity and self-expression and where you would like to be with your creative practice whatever that might be.
3. REFLECTION - Walking & Writing - let your mind wonder as we walk along various sections of the Cape to Cape track. The walks are an opportunity to connect with nature and reflect on all that is emerging during the retreat. You'll have the opportunity to write your experiences and thoughts as a way to reflect and learn.

REFLECTION - Walking & writing - let your mind wander as we walk various natural spots in Singapore as well as join a cultural & historical walking tour. The walks are an opportunity to connect with nature and reflect on everything that is emerging during the retreat.
This retreat aims at intensively (but delightfully and playfully) exploring and dismantling some of the obstacles that are getting in the way of your self-expression and creative fulfilment. It will also give you an opportunity to create something from the very start, help you generate ideas and problem solve any areas specifically related to your creative aspirations.
The main intentions are for you to experience useful insights into what stops you from expressing yourself and generate approaches to overcome this so you can establish or reestablish a daily creative practice & to learn some basics about silkscreening.
